Revelstoke Massage Therapy – Ascend Massage – Tina Giotsalitis RMT

CLINIC UPDATE FOR COVID-19 SITUATION:

July 01, 2020

Thank you so much for your ongoing support as I am just starting to slowly re-open.  Please note I am still working on getting spring cancellations rebooked;  there is quite a long list and my schedule has been limited.  If you haven’t heard from me yet you should shortly, I do sincerely appreciate your patience!   Once cancellations are re-booked I will be able to get to the waitlist.  Please get in touch if you would like to be added to the list when my schedule opens up.  I will not be taking new patients at this time as my reduced schedule does not currently allow for it, but please contact me directly if  you’ve been referred specifically to me by a health care professional or would like to be contacted when my schedule opens up again fully.  Thank you.

NEW PRICING AUG 1, 2020 –   60min $110  |  75min $130  |  90min $150

Ascend Massage Clinic Guidelines
& Policies

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:

► You will be asked to complete COVID-19 Symptoms/Travel Questionnaire prior to your appointment via email, and again at the time of your treatment before entering the clinic. There will also be a new liability form to sign as well.  If you have any questions about the forms, questionnaires, or your symptoms, please contact me.

Please be aware that there are many front-line workers including hospital, nursing home, and daycare staff who visit the clinic regularly. Please be open and honest about any symptoms/travel/exposures and always err on the side of caution no matter how mild your symptoms. If you are not sure, please ask. Allergy symptoms that include coughing, sneezing, runny nose, itchiness, or anything that would require you to touch/remove your mask during treatment are not permitted at this time.

The therapist has the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any point if there is a safety concern or clinic policies are not adhered to. As always, the patient can also request to stop or modify the treatment at any point.

Masks will be required for both the RMT and patient for portions of the treatment when distancing cannot be maintained. Cloth or medical style disposable masks are available for your use; you are welcome to wear your own if it fits well and is clean. You will be asked to sanitize or wash your hands before entering the clinic, before the treatment begins, and again at the end of treatment before payment processing. .

It is recommended to reduce/minimize extra chatting/talking when in close contact in a small enclosed space for longer periods of time. Communication for intake, treatment planning, consent, assessment, and in regards to treatment is always fine and an essential part of Massage Therapy.  Please feel free to discuss anything in regards to your treatment or how you are feeling at any time I recommend using the rest of the time to focus on breathing, relaxing, and enjoying the massage experience.

All surfaces in the clinic are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly between patients. Windows will be open and fans/filters used at all times to ensure good airflow and particle reduction. If there is anything you have questions or concerns about in regards to safety protocols please let me know.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding! I look forward to working with you.
